Austria-wide EPOSA reference network
EPOSA offers more than others: years of expertise in acquiring satellite positioning data and a high-quality, interconnected infrastructure. With our own network of reference stations, we capture real-time positions for all of Austria, neighboring countries, and the entire Munich area.
Our reference network is operated by the EPOSA partners – Burgenland Energie, ÖBB Infrastruktur, and Wiener Netze. Together, we have more than 40 reference stations, in addition to 9 stations operated by external companies. In total, we access measurement data from approximately 100 satellites and utilize 11 signal frequencies.
Our two highly secure data servers at Wiener Netze and ÖBB guarantee reliable services. All stations are equipped with receivers and antennas for the four global satellite systems: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou. Data exchange takes place via data connections owned by EPOSA partners.
Own infrastructure and customer support
The infrastructure for operations – including our IT, data lines, and locations – is also wholly owned by EPOSA partners. It is professionally operated and continuously expanded. Our employees handle maintenance and fault management. We offer our customers professional support and a fault reporting service.
